Abstract
A simulation of a two-chamber cell containing a mixture of sodium vapor and various inert gases was carried out. A significant dependence of the photo-EMF in this cell on the type of inert gas and its pressure was established that is due to the inhomogeneity of the spatial profile of the electron temperature in the cell.
