The fatal case of chronic systemic sarcoidosis is presented in the article. The peculiarities of this case are: the sudden worsening of long-existing, previously stable sarcoidosis, detection of autoantibodies and the development of rare kidney damage. The difficulty of differential diagnosis of sarcoidosis’ progression and systemic vasculitis and the importance of morphological researches in such cases are also demonstrated. This case may illustrate the possible connection of sarcoidosis and autoimmune pathology, which requires further investigations.
