Abstract

In modern St. Petersburg there are prerequisites for the formation of a network museum of the history of the blockade
of Leningrad. An analysis of aspects of this concept, a brief history of museum development, a typology of objects of memory
preservation and transfer was carried out. The means of media design and the possibility of their application in the context
of develop the model of formation of the Archipelago of Memory as a network form of the Museum of Defense and Blockade
of Leningrad, were considered.
