The efficiency of the nuclear spin-phonon coupling in NMR is defined quantitatively by the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation (SLR) rate. A method has been suggested for dividing the SLR mechanisms of quadrupole nuclei by suppressing the impurity contribution with additional acoustic or electric resonance continuous fields.
